Josh, Video & Marketing Assistant
Working with writers in the early stages of their careers is truly an honour. As a team, there’s nothing we love to see more than the success of our members, especially when we spot your published books on the shelves of bookshops!
Emily, Courses Executive
There’s something about helping talented and dedicated authors achieve their dreams, however small a part we play, that makes this job so special.
Rachael, Head of Publishing and AgentMatch

About the role:

The Ultimate Novel Writing Course (UNWC) is a year-long, online novel writing course that takes students from initial concept through to publication – with expert support and guidance every step of the way. Our tutored courses are managed by a small and ambitious in-house team and taught by best-selling authors and top tutors. Jericho Writers is looking for an experienced course moderator to join our Courses team.

The UNWC Moderator will be responsible for moderating Jericho Writers’ International Ultimate Novel Writing Course: working closely with the wider Courses team and course tutors, supporting students via email and Zoom calls, organising online writing sprints, providing technical support, fielding application queries, and general administrative tasks. We take great pride in ensuring all of our students have an excellent experience on all of our courses and we are looking for someone who will approach the work with that same level of diligence, care, and professionalism.

It’s a varied and fast-paced role that will suit those who are interested in the publishing industry, have a passion for books, and love customer facing work. This position offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to become more involved with our wider courses offering as the role progresses.
